Hi, my name is Emma Markovich and I am the current Vice President of the Zeta chapter of Chi Omega here at the University of Colorado Boulder! Chi Omega strives to ensure our members reach their full potential by exploring the many aspects of university life, including my focus: academics and scholarship.
Over the past few years, our chapter has placed more emphasis on scholarship. This dedication yielded much academic growth and academic pride within our members. Additionally, we have repeatedly achieved a chapter GPA that is higher than both the all-women and all-sorority average at CU Boulder. As of Spring 2019, we ranked in the Top 3 for the highest chapter GPA of all the sororities at CU Boulder. As always, I am so proud of my sisters and the hard work they put in daily to reach this level of academic success!
In my opinion, Chi Omega is the perfect balance between scholarship and social life, sisterhood and self-development, and professionalism and relaxation. In this busy period of our lives, filled with discovery and marked with long-lasting memories, Chi O never fails to support us in the most benevolent ways possible.
